Harry Potter Wedding at the Horticulture Building

Christina & Dom’s Harry Potter Wedding! When I first learned I was going to be part of this I actually googled “harry potter wedding” just to see if anything would come up…and….it’s a thing. And it was FABULOUS!

Christina and Dom chose beautiful music for me to perform from the Harry Potter films to set the theme for the ceremony and the reception that followed.

Prelude: “Hedwig’s Theme” from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Groom Squad: “Potter Waltz” from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Bridal Party: “Neville’s Waltz” from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Bride: “Fawkes the Phoenix” from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Recessional: “Harry’s Wondrous World” from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Zedd – Clarity
Metric – Breathing Underwater
Ed Sheeran – Perfect
John Newman – Love Me Again
Jose Gonzales – Heartbeats
Coldplay – Sky Full of Stars
Adele – Skyfall
Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars
Sixpence None the Richer – Kiss Me

Vance Joy – I’m With You

For the reception, Bourbon & Bloom beautifully transformed the Horticulture Building into the Great Hall at Hogwarts, with long tables with corresponding colours for each house, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor.

This wedding included so many wonderful details like the Harry Potter font used for all the printed materials from seating charts, place cards, and bar menus. Individual “Owl Posts” at each place setting. A candy table that included chocolate frogs and Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans. There was even a sorting hat and a golden snitch on top of the cake.
