Strathmere Inn Wedding Music

Wedding Music at Strathmere Inn for the lovely Michele & Rob. It was absolutely perfect outdoor wedding weather at Strathmere this past Saturday. I had the pleasure of performing for their ceremony, cocktails & dinner. Violinist extraordinaire, Doug Brierley, joined me for the ceremony on violin – always a special treat when I have a guest musician with me.

Strathmere Outdoor Wedding

Thank you to Michele, Rob and all their guests for the stirring round of applause after “Shallow” at the end of the night. Kind of a funny story:  I only just recently saw “A Star is Born” with Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper. Yes, I was a little behind on seeing that one. Lol. So “Shallow” was fresh in my mind, and I decided to sneak it in at the very end of the night. The couple had chosen another Lady Gaga song, so I figured they might also enjoy that one. As it turns out, they were going to request it, but didn’t want to “bother me” with having to learn it. So it was meant to be. And it was definitely a hit. I’ll have to add that one into my regular rotation of songs…it’s a good song! There’s a reason it won an Academy Award. 😉
